"There’s no such thing as “happily ever after” because love is the beginning of forever"

Oh my goodness. I am such a failure at blogging lately! I seriously can not believe I haven't blogged in 4 months! Especially because they've probably been the most eventful 4 months of my life! I mean my last post was about getting engaged for goodness sakes haha soooo now I'm married :D I'm officially Courtney Nicole Dustin.

Christopher Todd Dustin and I were married and sealed for time and all eternity on December 28th 2010 in the Oakland California temple. It really was an amazing experience and day. It was so nice to have so many family and friends all around us and enjoying the wonderful time with us. I don't have any pictures yet, or too much time to go into details but since I never blogged about any of my planning I guess I should give a few details ;)
The colors were blue, green and purple which turned out better than I could have expected. I'll have to post pictures but my flowers and bridesmaids dresses pretty captured my ideal image of my wedding. They turned out way better than I could have hoped! I also loved loved loved my dress (which is good because there was lots of stress with that that I won't get into). It had a sweetheart neckline, a bow and pockets. I mean what more could I have asked for! I also loved my hair, I had never done an updo before so I was nervous but it turned out awesome! I did a low bun up do and the girl actually sewed it together with string! It was way awesome! And of course I can't forget my awesome makeup! (Thanks so much Aubrey!) Christopher looked way good in his suit too, I'll try and post a way awesome shot the photographer got. The reception turned out absolutely beautiful! The food and decorations were amazing. The room didn't require too much else to decorate because it was so elaborate itself but we have white linens and a cube floral arrangement on every table. The club also had some hanging string lights coming down from the ceiling that I wasn't sure about but really turned out awesome. Brian was gracious enough to MC for us and put together a really awesome sideshow that I'll try and post at some point too. And yeah! we just had a really great time! I've seen a few pictures from the photographer because he put them up on their facebook page but I'm super eager to get the rest! It was raining pretty much the whole time which was kind of a drag but Clark was so much fun to work with that it made up for it a bit ;)
All in all it was a pretty amazing day. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have the people we were missing there with us. Most of all my mom. As most of you know she past away one month before the wedding. I can't believe its already been two months since that and a month since the wedding. Life is just flying by. We're back at school, living in Rexburg just trying to keep up with all of the homework. Its a pretty crazy amount for only 13 credits! And I can't even claim work like Christopher can, I guess I'm just slow! haha But anyways, we have class together in half an hour so I guess I should get going. Again, sorry its been so long! I love you all!

Stay Smiling! :D
