We had one a great 4th of July weekend! Saturday Christopher had to work about 19 hours. Huntsman Springs (where he works) through a big shin dig. There was cool shows and booths all day long ending with Glenn Beck and then and AMAZING!!! firework show! It was seriously so awesome. I thought I'd spend most of the day at home because I couldn't find anyone to go to with and Christopher was only going to get a two hour break. However, his boss let me tag along with him most of the day as he just sort of kept an eye on things. It was great :D Then Garin and Danee and Tyson and Maddie all came out for the big show that night. Christopher sat through most of it with us too because his job was to take care of trash which he couldn't really do during everything. It was awesome! But since I hadn't planned being there so long and didn't get any sunscreen on till late in the day I got a pretty dang bad burn....
But on a better note, I have the cutest niece ever! She was a candy and corn fiend that night! It was seriously adorable watching her, she LOVED the sour candy and the sweedish fish. And she kept picking her mom and dad's eaten corn on the cobs up off the ground and chewing on it more, passing it off to whoever came close thinking they of course would want some!
And like I said, I LOVE FIREWORKS! And these ones were some of the best I've ever seen!
Then Sunday we spent most of the day at the in-laws so Christopher could see his grandma who came for a visit on short notice! But we also got to go to Brandi and Jason's for little Addi's birthday party. She is seriously the most adorable little thing and I was so jealous of all the awesome clothes she got! Thanks Bran for inviting us! It was really nice to hang out with you guys!
Monday was cool too, Christopher got stuck at work longer than expected so we didn't get to go to the parade. But we headed over to Afton to and bought some pretty legit fireworks! I was worried about spending so much but I forgot all about it when we went home and lit them! Best fireworks I've ever seen at someone's house! It was nuts! And we sure had a ton too, so it went on forever! Zach and Christopher had harry potter fights with the Roman candles and Emma and I had giant sparklers. But its the big ones that made it all worth it! I mean, they looked professional to me! It was crazy!
A great couple of days! I know its nothing too special but I was just glad to get to spend a good chunk of time with my sweetheart and our families and celebrate our awesome country!
Stay Smiling :D
