We flew down thursday and joined my Dad for a day at Disneyland! Christopher's first ever time! He was a bit reluctant but I think we won him over once we were there :D
Then Friday began the wedding frenzy! I am ashamed to say that my camera didn't make much of a show during all this even though before I came I swore I was going to be better! Lauren was a much better photographer than me! We spent most of the day setting up Allie's grandpa's house for the wedding and then rehearsed what we'd need to do as far as walking down the aisle the next day. After all that we had an awesome dinner put on by the awesome Briscoe family. Saturday morning was spent with the bride as she got ready, taking pictures and then heading to the wedding itself! It was unreal to watch these to become husband and wife after 5 years!
You see... Allie and I have been together since birth! We spent the majority of our young years together every day until I moved away when I was 9. A lot of that time was spent with our friend Lauren And any time we didn't spend with the Mansfields and Hunts we were with the Martins or... the Briscoes! haha it just so happens that Britt's older brother was my older brother's best friends and our families hung out a lot when were tiny. Allie loves to tell anyone who'll listen that we were each other's first kiss because according to our mother's Britt had to show me what a "movie kiss" meant when we were about 5 years old. At this point in life Allie and Britt didn't know each other. And that didn't change until her junior year of high school when they had math together and soon after that I got told "Allie is dating Britt Briscoe!" From then on whenever I saw Allie I saw Britt! So as I said, this has been a long time coming!
The wedding was gorgeous (of course! nothing less would do for these two :) ) and it was nice to have Lauren, Allie and I together again, now all with our husbands! I know Allie has been itching to join us since we were both married the past two Decembers and I'm so happy for her and Britt! Maybe now she'll remember to call us by our married names! haha There was a photobooth at the wedding and I snagged some pictures off facebook cuz they turned out so cute! I just wish I had my camera or phone on me so that I had taken more. But oh well!
Thanks for taking care of her and not breaking her heart Britt! So that Lauren and I haven't had to kick you butt(not that we could...but still!) haha

Now that we have reconnected it is time to get together more often!! We only live an hour away from each other! And Michael and I need to try that wings place!
