Well except for the birth and blessing of these two angels!
Meet Holden Andrew Van Blerkom and Kaleb Monroe Dustin! My two perfect little nephews! The pictures above are of Kaleb days after being born and Holden three weeks after being born. They are two months apart in age but definitely not in size! Holden is quite a big baby! :D I love these two soo much already! I miss them all the time and hate that we live so far away from both of them! And from our niece Sophie who is now a proud big sister!
Kaleb was blessed back in April and Holden just a few weeks ago. Then we had a couple weeks off and got back together for two busy weekends!
Brian and Jennica came up the Saturday before memorial day. Then Dad and Tiffany followed them the next day. We all hung out with the family in Victor for memorial day before the siblings had to head back to Utah for school. We even got some shooting in! Tiff didn't love it so much but Jenn and I did pretty well in keeping up with the boys! I mean check her out!
Dad left too the next morning then came back Thursday night. We had dinner with some of the Aunts and Uncles at apple bees. Then Friday we headed out to Driggs for dinner with the Bagley's and Gavin's high school graduation!
It was a really great time because EVERYONE was in town! Even our little Canadians. The reason being... The very next day little Hallie got baptized! And her Uncle Garin married her new Aunt Danee!
I love being closer to my extended family! Its so nice to be around for all these family events. I especially love it when my immediate family can come up too! I miss them a lot! Especially my cute nieces and nephews like I said before :D
Anywho after having so much fun its back to work with school! However, I was teaching three days a week and that got put down to one because of summer school and the restrictions we hit with that. So my load has been somewhat lightened. Even though my other classes are pretty intense still. Its nice to have time to really focus on them. Maybe I'll have extra time for blogging too! haha Until then....
Stay Smiling! :D
Yay you blogged!! Love hearing about your life and seeing pictures!!!! Except you were WAY better than me at shot guns. Guess I will have to practice for next time we come :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Love that you blogged again! Sounds like you guys are being kept busy up in Idaho, but we sure wish you lived closer to us in Utah:(. Love you!
