Isn't that the truth! Sometimes I wonder if bed time will ever come but as I've been looking back over 2013 and seeing everyone else's years in review I've found myself saying: "That was a year ago? No way!" Anywho, I keep seeing everyone doing 2013 recaps and I find myself wanting to do one as well. I know I only ever blog when something important happens so this will probably just be a repeat of the very few posts I've already done but its mostly for me anyways :D Here we go!

January found us in Rexburg; me newly graduated and Christopher faithfully chugging along with school. With my new found free time I through myself into cooking/baking and reading, a few of my very favorite things! I couldn't play forever though, so I began substituting in a couple school districts just north of us and actually really enjoying it!
February's highlight was, of course, Valentine's day. My cutie pie made me an adorable handmade card and bought me my most favoritest caramels ever! We celebrated with dinner at a little family restaurant that is famous in the area called Chiz's where you sit at one big wrap around counter with all the other people there. It was interesting to say the least!

March brought a trip to Provo to celebrate all our march birthdays (including this little guy's) and a wedding! We love ever chance we get to see friends and family! Especially the little ones!
April is my birthday of course :D I don't have any pictures, but my sweet husband took me back to the little mexican restaurant where we first met and then had our friends surprise me with a cake when we got home. It was great! We usually do a fun little trip between the end of his semester and work but since I was working Christopher pretty much went straight to the golf course after school ended.
To be honest
May seems to have snuck away from me. I'm not quite sure what we did this month! Other than work, work, work!

June was an exciting month though! Brian and Jenn came to visit and we decided to go fishing on what just so happened to be free fishing day in Idaho! It was super fun! Then I got to go home for a week to see a beautiful friend of mine get married to her honey! It was a blast to hang out with dad for a week and maybe get a little spoiled... It also happened to be Father's day! Perfect timing!
July was quite a busy month as well, with LOTS of fun friend dates! But our biggest event was of course, Elder Dustin's big return! We've love having Zach back these past few months, he's just so much fun to have around!
August was a bit overwhelming because I started work as a full time sub for a developmental preschool teacher I know. It was fun, but super intimidating! I did get to spend a few days in Utah with my siblings before that though! So all in all it wasn't a bad month! We also made it to part of the annual Dustin family reunion early in the month as well.

September started with a bang because that first week of work ended with labor day weekend which we spent with the Dustins in Yellowstone. It was a long weekend with tons of driving but it really was a blast! Its hard to limit my pictures of the gorgeousness we saw but I know this is getting a bit excessive... so I'll try ;)
October is always a great month in our house because I inherited my mother's love of Halloween (and lots of her decorations). It was her birthday so it has always been a big deal in our house. We also enjoyed another trip to Utah for Brian's birthday and general conference. Always an awesome experience! Then again a couple weeks later for a BSU game. And after that Brian and Jenn turned right around a week later and came up for our Halloween party!
November came with more family time! (I really loved the second half of our year for this very reason!) Christopher had a week long field trip with his major so I took the chance to spend a week with my siblings again. It was great! We were in Danville for Thanksgiving and had plenty of fun there of course! We did manage to take some family pictures too!
And
December of course was Christmas! This meant Disneyland for us! The merriest place on earth!
It was a pretty good year for us I'd say. But I'm hoping for an even better one in 2014!! :D
I love year in reviews! And i love how much we got to see you this year! How do I go about getting some of those VB family pictures?
