Has it really been another month already?!? I mean seriously, I constantly alternate between questioning the fact that she's already 3 months old and disbelief that there was ever life without her! I feel like she's been with us forever! There is no 3 month Dr. appointment therefore I don't have any new stats and this has probably been the month of the least change so far but that doesn't mean much because baby girl is definitely growing and changing all the time!
She's still a fairly happy baby most of the time and has been starting to explore laughing. I kept thinking she had laughed and it was adorable but then one night I got a true, unmistakable giggle out of her randomly and it was literally heaven on earth!
She also coos quite a bit and loves to talk back to us when we mimic her.
We got her a play mat a few weeks ago and she loves it! She is starting to intentionally bat at the toys on it more and more and loves to smile at herself in its little mirror.
Still not a big fan of tummy time and doesn't have much interest in rolling over or anything like that but loves to be sitting up and looking around at everything she can see.
We've had a bit of set back with sleeping the past week or so and I'm hoping it doesn't last but it also doesn't seem matter so much once she wakes up for the day just grinning away at me. Christopher looked at her this morning and said "yeah? are you just happy to be alive?" and I think that describes her mornings pretty well!
