We had Peyton's four month well child check yesterday which meant new stats and shots! She was seriously such a champ! I had to interrupt her mid bottle to get weighed and she didn't even fuss (normally she screams when a bottle ends, let alone gets interrupted) then she was an absolute champ for shots and only cried for about 10 seconds before calming down! We even ran a few errands including grocery shopping and she just slept away. I mean really, I don't mean to brag but I have the best baby ever! Alright so here are the stats...
9th %tile for height
20th %tile for weight
64th %tile for head circumference 😂
So basically she's a shorty with a big head or in other words a perfect Dustin-Van Blerkom combo
In other news she hasn't made any use physical developmental changes (rolling over, sitting up etc) BUT she has starting sleeping through the night! (most nights) We went to CA for thanksgiving with a pitstop in UT first and ever since we left she just decided that she can go a full 10-12 hours without a bottle or anything! Its AMAZING! If you know me at all you know I need my sleep! She still isn't the best napper in the world (with the random 3 hr exceptions) but we'll figure it out!
As far as the other stuff goes she's just doing a bit more all the time. She's super easy to make smile but still a bit stingier about laughs. She's pretty strong and can stand up with help for a lot longer than before. Also still as content as can be to lie on her back as long as I let her but not a fan of tummy time even though she's way better at it now and can lift her head and chest pretty high. Her favorite thing right now is probably sucking on those little fists. She's got a pretty tiny mouth but tends to fit quite a bit of hand into it which drives her daddy crazy!
