"When in the pursuit of happiness, one should just stop and be happy."

The weekend before my trip home Brian and Jennica made a spontaneous trip up to see us. It was so great to see them and just take a bit of a break from life together! We always have such a blast and I hate that we don't get to see them more. I wish we could make it down to see them and our other friends and family more often. Dang gas and the money it costs :(

Anywho, we had a blast just doing simple stuff and hanging out, nothing fancy. Friday we met in IF with our good friend Nick and his lovely girlfriend because we already had plans with them when Brian called to tell us he was coming. The 6 of us had some yummy olive garden and then hit a movie. It was great! But Brian mostly came just for the donuts. Haha we have a really great donut shop that he is in love with. They are pretty fabulous donuts :D

Christopher had to work Saturday morning (on about 2 hours of sleep). So he was pretty exhausted. Not to mention by the time we'd woken up and gotten donuts he had already worked 4 hours and driven back to teton where he parks his car (he carpools). We met him there and he was such a good sport that he drove right back to the valley with us where we visited the cemetery before heading out for a little float down the river! Christopher shares a little fishing boat with his dad so we took the motor off it and grabbed some poles then headed to the river. We had a great time even though we definitely didn't catch any fish. Plus we didn't even have to pay because it just so happened to be a free fishing day!

After that adventure we headed out to IF again for dinner because Brian and Jenn really wanted Famous Dave's. Then we hung out a bit back at our place before it was off to bed for us tired kids! Brian and Jenn headed back to Orem and we went to church and had some friends for dinner before I had to leave for CA the next day. It was a really great time and I'm so grateful they chose to spend their precious few days off with us (Brian has an INSANE schedule this summer). We really enjoy hanging out with them and just having visitors at all! We love you guys! Come back soon!!
