...not the ones we would like to have. Not the ones we used to have. Those we have right now. All of them"

Well as I figured this blog has once again fallen by the wayside throughout this first year of teaching. Now it is almost over! Only 27 1/2 more days in fact! (not that I'm counting)

I won't lie, it has a been a rough year! There have been times where I've wanted to pull my own hair out. And it seems like those time were definitely trying to outweigh the times I couldn't help but smile. I love my little kiddos but I'm still at a loss of what to do in certain situations and with certain kids. However, I've muddled through and soon I will finally be able to say I made it through year one! I wish I had a better idea of what to do and therefore was  better teacher but I'm learning and will be for quite some time. I don't know that it is an art anyone can ever perfect because it is different with every set of individuals you are given each year and then on top of that the information is always changing as well. The best I, or any teacher, can do is to pour our time and energy into finding what works well for us and our kids. (Because yes, they are "our kids")

I wish I could tell you we had fantastic adventures planned for the summer but Christopher is going to hard at work on his sod farm all summer so we definitely won't be going anywhere! All I can say is that I will try to find blog worthy things to write about if at all possible! If anyone even still reads this :p haha I doubt I would if it were me! Anywho, that's all I have for now!
